5 month update - The Girls Share a Room

Little Edith is not so little anymore! Her 6 month pants barely fit (had to put her in 12 month pants just to get them over her cloth diapers) and she's now pushing 16lb.

Edith still hasn't rolled back to belly, but she's so close. She CAN roll belly to back but the child is just content staying in one place so she rarely does! I'm glad Edith is sitting up more because a few weeks ago, we were having her head scanned for a little helmet :-( We noticed when she was still very young, that she was developing a flat spot on the back right side of her head. We tried correcting it by propping that shoulder up so she'd be forced to look the other way. But it was too little too late, so we're still propping her mattress up at night. Between that and sitting up more during the day, her spot is kind of evening out so I think we've decided to forego the helmet.

We broke out the stationary jumper which she loves! That and her floor seat are her favorite places to watch Grace run around. I love listening to her laugh at her sister and Grace is really starting to appreciate Edith's presence!

After extensive searching, I finally found a crib for Edith that complemented Grace's. I would've gotten the same one cus I love it so much, but it's been discontinued! Sad. They started sleeping in the same room after New Years (first 2 nights were a pretty rough adjustment for Grace) and Edith is now sleeping 12 hours through the night (normally). Edith will typically go down around 8:30 and Grace will go down once Edith falls asleep. She's been doing so good staying asleep if Edith happens to wake up and cry, which was my biggest worry! Now that I've got their name signs hung, their room is just about complete!
