10 month update - Grace eats Thanksgiving

Y'all. It was so hard to pick just 4 favorites! I can't believe I need to start planning her 1st birthday party soon! I haven't even decided on a theme yet :-O

November came and went very quickly. It was such a blur but one highlight was Thanksgiving. We traveled to WV for a week and stayed with Mathias's family. I was going to wait til Grace's birthday (or at least Christmas) to upgrade her car seat but with such a long drive, and a great Amazon special on the 2 seats I've been eyeing for months, I went ahead and got both! (oops) We got this seat and she LOVES it...I call it the Cadillac. Haven't opened the second one yet, so I can't say we love it yet, but that will go in the second car. Having made the trip twice now, I can honestly say we've got travelling with a baby down to a science.

Over the last few months, Grace has really gotten the hang of eating solids and feeding herself. I guess it was all practice leading up to Thanksgiving! She hasn't met a food she doesn't like, so she tried a little of everything on our plates. It was so special getting to have her sit with us at the long table with everyone, pick apart food for her, while she grabbed every last piece and ate with such earnest. I think she really enjoyed herself!! Little babe loves to eat and she's not picky...she must get that from Mathias because I was quite the opposite as a baby haha

We're gearing up for Christmas now and celebrating at our house this year!
