Travelling had 2 meanings for us this month! We tackled the 13 hour drive to West Virginia in one day and thank goodness my parents let us borrow their car! Made travelling so much smoother. Here are some snapshots from our trip!

If you caught my Instagram post, Grace got to see some mountains, trespass on private property to pick fresh apples (and brought back a whole bunch to make her favorite...applesauce!), see a cat for the first time, and try pancakes! She loved them so much we've made pancakes a Sunday morning tradition.

I mentioned in our 7 month update, Grace started standing up against things. She got really good at this during our trip to WV, and now she is using her walker a little and travelling across the coffee table and onto the couch. It's really slow, but she can stand there forever just as content as can be! She's also gotten MUCH faster at crawling. I hate to gate off the living room because she loves exploring the whole house so much and she has such a thirst for learning. But man...this means someone has to be watching her. every. minute. Because it really takes that long before she is out of the room, down the hall, and in another room finding something she's not supposed to be ripping apart! 9 times out of 10, she has gone around the long way (since I did put a gate between the kitchen and living room) and can be found washing her hands in the dog bowl lol

We are reeeeally looking forward to Grace's first Halloween. I already have her costume (I actually planned this costume before I was even pregnant!) and can't wait to take her to Trunk or Treat! Mathias and I vended it last year and the photo we took ended up on one of those mom websites in an article for 30 pregnant Halloween costumes. Haha!
