9 month update - Grace does Fall

That last one just melts my heart. I can't believe she's already 9 months old

October was another exciting month of growth. She really is getting such a fun little personality. Grace has her 9 month check-up later this week and I'm pretty curious how much she weighs. If I had to guess, I'd say pushing 20lb...maybe more?! She's also cut 4 teeth for the first time since her 6 month update when her bottom 2 popped out. Now she has 4 on bottom and 2 on top! She's starting to look like such a big girl. I just love watching her learn, pick things up, and inspect it, flipping it through her fingers and switching hands to see it from all angles. It's funny Mathias and I narrate what's probably going on in her head each time she holds something new: "shiny, good texture, sturdy...tastes good." She now waves "Hi" and "Bye" to everyone and I swear it's the cutest thing! She's also saying "mama" and "dada" more, although not on cue, and I don't think in association with us. She started using her walker alot more and moves so fast across the living room with it! We also caught her standing by herself for at least 5 seconds. What?!

Mathias and I had our first vacation away from baby - 4 NIGHTS at Hulaween! Mathias's mom graciously came down from WV and stayed with her while we were gone. When we got back, I asked her for a kiss and she pressed her forehead to mine then covered my nose with her mouth. I'll take it!
