This has probably been the month of the most milestones! And yes, this last shot was taken just a moment before she took a dive off the chair. I used to be really bad at catching things, even if it was a good throw. Now, I'm really good at catching things just before they hit the ground. Is this mom instinct? Momstinct?

Currently

- crawling. Like actual crawling without putting her belly down. Which means she's faster! I can leave the room to go to the bathroom, and when I come back less than a minute later (as a parent, you learn to pee really, really fast) (well, you learn to do everything fast...fix meals, change diapers, get dressed, dress baby, everything), she has cleared the room and in the kitchen already. She's getting to the point that she's following me down the hallway and crawling from room to room!

- and from that crawling position, she can sit up on her own. It's so cute how babies sit up with such perfect posture. I still find it so funny when I enter a room and she's already sitting up looking at me, especially if she's in her crib and already awake from a nap. Kinda caught me off guard the first time it happened! She loves climbing over things too...especially people laying down.

- and from that sitting position, she can kneel, then she can STAND. What?! Can't tell you how shocked I was the first time I walked into the living room and she was already STANDING against the baby gate! She's not very good at it (or getting down once she's there) and you have to be right behind her to catch her if she falls!

- feeding herself! I love watching her get the hang of holding food and bringing it to her mouth.

- I went a little crazy on the Radio Flyer website and made her a customized trike and wagon. #sorrynotsorry They shipped SO FAST and I loved building these. We attended Grace's first music festival and brought the "gypsy wagon" (as we are now calling it) with us. My old college friend, Zach (singing there on the left) started this festival, Surrounded by the Sound. He did a GREAT job...clean, organized, and Pep Rolls sold out!

- As SBTS was a multi day festival, Grace had her first camping experience and slept somewhere other than her crib. I use sleep very loosely as it was quite horrible. During the day, we were fine. Night was a whole different ball game. I'll say one thing: bed sharing is not for us. I probably cried more than I did my entire labor. Thank goodness we only stayed one night...don't think I could've done two! Any tips on camping with a baby/toddler??
